Need a Job? Invent it!!!

So earlier today I read an article by Thomas Friedman. I was an interview with Tony Wagner and his opinion on the future of workers and the job economy. Tony Wagner discusses the educational issues that our generation and the next might face. Jobs today are becoming more skillful for the average worker, and we are losing more to people living in a different country. What Wagner thinks we should do, is instead of making high-school kids college ready, we should make them innovative ready. I agree, instead of being the regular guy working at a tech-savvy company, think of new ways to impress the world. What he talks about is similar to the Chappaqua summer scholarship program. What they have been doing to while at the same time, making us college ready, they also try and introduce us to new things. Like classes we don't normal have in regular school like computer science and Shakespeare. Plus the extra activities that we normally would play in the Bronx. So I agree with Wagner, more kids should be exposed to a wide variety of materials, and be different from others in the job field when they grow up with an open mind, and a will to create the next best thing.
